hi all,

     during this stressfull time of the year which do you members find is the best feeding method

hopper feeding 24/7   or    a measured feed (if measured approx how much per bird)

don;t like hopper feeding myself , too much corn thrown about , plus birds are in better nick if not overfed , tried it once still saw odd mouse in daytime  that was it for me , hand feed once aday untill 3\4 go for adrink

1 oz a day if not flying out , hoppers have there uses they attract mice but everyone to there own  i still like to feed twice a day once you have a routeen no point in upseting the birds to change it  ;)

at this time of year  :) birds out every day ,fed as much as they want,, mixture containing as much veriety as poss,, some will eat less being further on in the moult , some will eat more [and whats more know what to eat] that are in different stages of the moult :),,,,,,,,, no food ever left over :)
