Guest strapper Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 lastnight had a phonecall to say ..its flying courriers here, we,ve got a pickup with you tomorrow, im ringing to ask will you be in tomorrow, i answered well as long as the driver phones me with a few hrs in advanced roughly what time he,ll be calling then thats fine...she answered well thats ok shouldnt be a problem? well as the time is now 8.33 pm and now ive just recieved a phonecall from the driver asking can he pick up about 10pm tonite, ive told him in no uncertain terms NO!. i told them ive been waiting all day for them without a phonecall ,and birds in the basket all day long. so i feel sorry for the person they were going too, they will be later now receiving them...paul.
Guest strapper Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 now ive just been rung once again and now they are asking can they call 10.20pm tonight?? this amazes me as 10pm wasnt appropriate how can 10.20 be?

Guest Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Couriers do their best and we need them as much as they need us. a bit of leeway to help them do their job cant be a bad thing surely
Guest strapper Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 its not the lateness chris ,its the not knowing, hanging about ,no going about what i wanted to do. im moving my daughter into a flat and they have put us a day behind now, i think flyer would have a bit to say if i went out and they turned up after driving miles out of their way. pigeon tracker has never let me down and ALWAYs keeps me informed of any alterations.
Guest bigda Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 yep think, do you want birds delivered, or special delivery's small concerns trying to help try doing it, burst you ar-se

Delboy Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 i agree bob but 1 phonecall would make a world of a difference dont you think....if only to be kept in the picture...as you say cant be a bad thing surely. Your 100% correct Strapper. A phone call would keep us in the picture.I asked Flying Couriers last week to collect a bird for me in West Drayton, at their convenience, and to let me know when so I could make arrangements. I was told that they would collect on Wednesday ( today ) and deliver tomorrow. Wayne assured me that they would contact the chap in West Drayton on Tuesday to tell him a time today.I am just off the phone to the guy and his wife waited in all day and has not heard anything from Flying Couriers. This is my first time using this company and to say I am disappointed would be an understatement. A phone call is what was needed to keep everybody sane. > >
ChrisMaidment08 Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 and think of room for new stock it will cheer you up

I DO sympathise with you Paul my wife is also chronic asthmatic and diabetic so think I am qualified to know how you feel, but really do think you should have chilled a bit before posting bad press against a damn good courier service. No hard feelings mate ;)
