Hi all we have started this new thread as our old thread has New Delivery Service written on it.

I would just like to make it clear to fanciers that on our advert we say within 24 hour delivery. This is from when we collect the bird to getting it delivered and we also stress that sometimes this is not possible and may take upto 48 hours. If this is the case we will water and feed your bird and also change the box it is in with new wood shavings. We do have up to 36 hours to deliver your birds unless we ask the fancier for up to 48 hours.

The reason i have said this is because we have had alot of fanciers been intouch asking us to pick there birds up and expect it to be next day. We will not pick any birds up unless we know we can deliver them within our hours and also we can contact the person we are collecting from and also delivering too. We are trying to make the pigeons journey as quick as possible as we wouldnt like to be kept in a box for days and days. I hope you all understand what we are saying on this thread if not please ask any questions and we will answer them as best we can. Thank you all for your support.

          Regards

                Flyin Couriers.

Even with the networking that Amtrak had they could not always deliver the birds the next day, the difference was that Amtrak never cared for the birds by providing any food or water if held over, maybe you could put birds that are held over in larger boxes as they get quite warm in the normal ones, just a suggestion. :)

Water is more important than feeding them and dipping the squeakers beaks to let them know it is water :)

I would just like to let all fanciers know that all work that we take in as from today we may not be able to collect or deliver until week commencing : Monday 1st December 2008. The work we have from this last week we are going to be sending our vans out over the weekend to try and get some of our back log collected and delivered. Also we would like to inform you all that any collection / deliveries we are taking in from next week we will be looking to do them within 7 days. Our 24 hour service still stands as we will not be holding birds unless we are asked to or there destination is up North past Dundee eg: Aberdeen, Inverness. If we have to hold birds any longer than 24 hours all birds will be watered with the fanciers permission. We can also feed birds with fanciers permission too. We apologise for any convienience caused and hope you all understand. Thanx to you all for your support.

          Regards

Sorry to hear about the problems with one of your vans and for letting us know, one of the inherent problems with networking especially for a new company building for the future and trying very hard to please us all :)

I hope you never let Chickadee near it  ;D ;D ;D
