Flyin Couriers Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 some posts that come on here r totally out of order when u spent hundreds of pounds on pigeons u just want them delivered in a reasonable timescale and in good order nothing to much to expect hol on i havent even delivered them yet so u cant comment on their condition as i say facts first i will make sure the guy that gets them double checks the lot as i have all his pigeons for xmas yes we working to xmas eve to sort this out for yourselfs this is how u pay me all i can say is thank you very much x
Silverdale Lofts Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Chris i run a skip business i know what its like to have customers shouting down the phone and i know they are trying there best but i think they took too much on before xmas trying to get everyones birds there for xmas you have to draw a line somewhere its the first time ive used flying couriers and if they want my custom ill use them again.

Start saying NO to the knockers and when the have p***ed every other courier service off as well then they will have to transport their own birds. Plenty of considerate customers out there that are more than satisfied with your service

I believe you do run a skip site as you had a nice chat with wayne if im not mistaken i like to hear the good with the bad and learn from it but i would like to ask in future if you have a problem i delivery your birds yesterday can you ring meon that day and not the day after for ourselfs to sort this out as i cant do anything much when no 1 tells me whats going on. I have spoken to the gentlemen i picked them up from and the same lot of birds i picked and delivered have all been fine. Im not disputing what you are saying but would like to be contacted asap on these matters Have nice xmas and a happy new year

maverick Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 All i can say is i have used FLYIN COURIERS and have nothing but praise for them phoned to say birds were picked up then phoned to tell me what time birds would be delivered, all birds in great health when delivered. Here we have a couple starting a new venture working hard long hours to try and please the pigeon fancy we know not all is perfect that takes time miricles a little longer so give them a bit of time to get the little things sorted out and i personaly think we will have a great service from these people ALL THE BEST IN YOUR VENTURE WAYNE & DEBS Have a good christmas and a prosperous New year all the best.

Wayne insisted that i checked all four birds that you had held when he was here, i did just to keep him happy ;) but as you know i was the first one you held birds for through no fault of your own i may add, in fact if you remember you phoned me before you picked them up to explain. Birds then arrived in top condition. Just thought i would let you know how pleased i have been with the service which i have recived from you. Wishing you Wayne & all a F C a Merry Christmas. How can you mock them for trying, if they took two weeks off as some couriers have done surely the back log would just build up, at least they are our there This is the first year or may I say months of all these new businesses finding their feet, let us support the good honest hard working ones and leave our criticism for the rest that come on here and spin more yarn than Dickensian Market :-/

Guest anto Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 yous dont know how lucky yous are 2 have a service this time of year these people are working there hearts out 2 please the fancier the problem is yous are spoiled yous have 2 good of a service try waiting 3 weeks 2 get birds keep going on like that yous end up with nothing ive heard and read so many good things about all the couriers that use the site and some not so good lets get real nobodys perfect lets try help thes people 2 help us we all need 2 work together IS IT JUST ME or is the site gone a little mad the last couple of days lets try get back on track happy xmas :)

It was put up, as I suggested, va Dovescote, that 'Good and bad' stories alike to be posted. Only TRUTH though. This was agreed and has been done. However, some decide to flout that and put up their own site etc. Seems also that the couriers themselves are to blame for 50% or more of the posts. 'Self praise is no praise' springs to mind. Now if, such as yourselve and others did just use them two posting heading, the very aim wishing to acheive would be met. Good or bad stories. THIS was to give the site a fair and balanced oppinion of the couriers used. Now I personally see no wrong in voicing ones expierences, good or bad. It was or thought this was good regards keeping the couriers keen and more importantly on the ball. Gosh if I bought a bag of apples in tesco's that some appeared bad, I have every right to take back, for money back or replaced! Sure one can't take back pigeon in reality, but one must have the right of redress surely. Fine having good stories... but they are not worth a jot if there is no yard stick!
Flyin Couriers Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Right i have just got in from being out since 6:30am once again to come home to all this again so let me explain as it was me that delivered most of the pigeons in Question. 1st Stevie B - Willie's birds have been picked up and have been delivered to Elimars holding loft on Fri, we now have them after collecting them this evening and they are in our van to come up to Scotland tommorow Debs has spoke to Willie and he knows what is happening and is happy. Also there was a mix up with your name as you know when we picked your birds up last time. I would like to say thank you to yourself for apologising after your comments though on this site. 2nd Silverdale Lofts - When i arrived at your address last night i asked you to check all your birds and you said to me they would be fine if i remember rightly mate i asked you more than once to check them. Also your birds were watered on Sat nite with the other 2 customers we had birds for and also we only had your birds for 42 hours so your birds would have been in good condition. 3rd Strapper - We have had birds to collect from yourself twice now mate the first time we have sorted already so i wont go into that but as i am aware you were told on Sun nite that we had ran out of boxes this is not our fault mate as the guy who we get them off we believe has gone on holiday for over xmas and new year. I apologise for not having boxes i travelled over 170 mile out my way today to collect those birds believe me i wouldn't have done this for nothing mate if i had of known you had no boxes and we couldn't collect them. 4th White Knight - Like i said to yourself last night i had pm'd the customer the birds were going to myself and told him/her we couldnt collect his/her birds till after xmas so i dont see how we have let anybody down mate. To be honest guys im gettin a bit peed off a getting slatered on here for nothing and i am seriously thinking of not bothering anymore as i dont know whether it is worth the hasstle so i am seriously going to think things through over xmas and New year. Thanx again for the people supporting us and i do hope we can keep on going as we are enjoying what we do just some people got no patience or respect for what we are trying to do for all fanciers.
