That's correct the phone lines are down again, bloody Virgin Media, and Wizza we are really busy, think you should stop been so negitive towards couriers   the only thing dodgy is your posts

I would like to clear this matter up .

 

In January 2009 I started Uk Pigeon Couriers with my dad (David Thornton) in April 2009 due to personal reasons and distance between Leeds (my home town) and Congleton (Dads home town) I left and set up Pigeon Force Couriers. Over the past year we have built up a very good reputation, although there maybe negative comments on here about us, Pigeon Basics accounts for maybe 5% of our work load. Pigeon basics is a good site and it's a shame to have a few people that have negative views against us and other couriers.

Some people will never be pleased  

 

Out of the past 3 weeks our phones have not been on for a total of 3 days, this is out of our control and is down to the great Virgin Media that we have our services with, we are sorry to customers who have tried to make contact with us and been unable to do so, we do have an email address Julie@pigeonforce.co.uk and also Lynn@pigeonforce.co.uk which you can email your jobs to you can also pm them on here.

 

A month ago we was going to work with Uk Pigeon couriers but Pigeon Force had to go, I wasn't happy about this and neither were some of our valued customers so it was decided to continue with Pigeon Force, we now work along side Roger at Phantom Flyer, who does a great job and has been doing so for 6 years.

 

Pigeon Force has been trading for 1 year now and we intend to trade and offer our services to fanciers for many years to come, we will hopefully be reducing our prices further to make it affordable for all.

 

We welcome all feed back it can only help us improve what we do this can be by phone, email or postings.

 

There will be couriers who come and go hopefully we won't be one of them, with your help we can succeed.

 

We would like to wish everyone on this forum all the best for the 2010 racing season.

picked up 10 birds from me in Glasgow to go to 2 different one loft races at 1 pm yesterday and just heard both have been delivered today already, so all i can say is first class service keep up the good work.

FIRST CLASS SERVICE THATS WHAT I CALL THAT AFTER MY EXPERIENCE WITH CASTLE COURIERS READ THIS

we ordered 6 ybs frm john gladwin  AT FORMULA ONE LOFTS john emailed me telling me birds picked up(sunday) should get them today(monday)

got a txt saying b delivered btween 1;15 -2-30

then got a voicemail telling me left at neighbours no one in

so wen i gt ome played hell with the wife 4 goin out  & went to get ybs told nobody been here m8

so foned CC he tells me delivered to no.120 told him was no no.120 it then goes quiet and he sez i'll fone you back does' so i fones him.tells me he's dropped my 10 in corby very sorry goin back to get them  will get them to you first thing in the morning.troubl is i only ordered 6

i then fones john gladwin and asks have you sent me 10? no i sent u 6 and a bloke in lincs 4. so tuesday arrives no ybs

so by 11;00 ifoned them bak to be told."dont' worry m8 they been watered n fed & you'll get them tomorrow(wed)and i'll knock a fiver off for your trouble

Finally wednesday dawns and @ approx 10:15 our ybs arrived a bit lighter but ok

PS.so bet you thinking anyone can make a mistake well ask yourself this

HOW DOES 6 YBS ADDRESSED CORRECTLY END BEING DELIVERED TO A HOUSE 190 MILES AWAY AS WE LIVE IN BISHOP AUCKLAND CO. DURHAM AND TAKE 2 DAYS TO CORRECT  :-/ ??) ??) ??)

I sent two with casltle couiers sunday they arrived in scotland tuesday about a 48hr trip but what can we do.

Another lad picked some up today he recon's they won't be in manchester until 12 tonite don't know if thats his last drop, he had miles to go before that, So again how they make money i just don't know.

they make money by arranging other pick ups and deliveries along the way ...they may have 5,6 or 7 stops..which makes it pay....not knocking any of them but they must be making, else they wouldnt be in this business
