Surrey Flyer Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Hi all, I have had a bird reported in Helgoland,Germany, by a non-fancier who is looking after the bird superbly, as he has sent photos to me. We are waiting for correct wind and weather, but he phoned me tonight and said that the bird has started moulting, and the long range forecast is gloomy to say the least. Any ideas or help available, this guy told me he also had a couple of pigeons from Portsmouth fanciers. Thanks Bob
ChrisMaidment08 Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 do you want it back or does non fancier not know anyone with birds
REDCHEQHEN Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Heligoland is a long way off - a very small island surrounded by sea Are there any boats that stop by that could take the bird to the mainland It seems a daunting task for the bird
