  1. Hi, Thanks for all enquiries, birds will now be off to a new home in about 4 weeks, owner will be sending me rings too, Thanks for your offer Craig, but rings now not required. Thanks again Bob Rudge (Surrey Flyer)
  2. Hi, Right, these birds are still available, if interested as i stated before, phone me 07710043788. Someone has been trying to contact me, but they withheld their number and did not leave a message, as i was cleaning out the loft. Bob
  3. Hi all, I have had numerous pm's, any details from me please call 07710043788 Bob
  4. It always amazes me, when someone puts birds up for sale, the purchaser wants them for nothing. When birds are put up for free nobody wants them, perhaps i should put a silly price on them. These are the birds i will be racing with next year! Bob
  5. Hi, My race cocks now have chipping babies, so if anyone would like 10-14 Van Reet babies contact me asap, i will require rings as i have used all mine. The birds are in Sutton Surrey, which is between Wimbledon and Croydon. There are no pedigrees with these, one cock has won me £520.00, these are what i have left to race next year. Thanks Bob
  6. Hi Karl, Any chance of you putting on a picture of your lofts please. Could you also add overall height, depth and length, as i am possibly going to carry out a similar project. Thanks Bob
  7. Hi, Permethrin is in most lice/flea sprays. The best one that i have come across is Ardap made by Quiko. Excellant gear. Bob

  11. Hi, Are there any members on this site that have knowledge of Lottery Grants. We as a club would like to build a new club house, as we have no electrics asbestos leaking roof etc, all power is run from a petrol generator. We have oap members as well as juniors and disabled members if this helps our cause. Thanks Bob

Hi all, I have a team of 24 yearling cocks which will all fly on widowhood. They are paired to their hens at the moment all sitting eggs. Today i decided to let the cocks out, 12 are back with their hens, the other twelve are on the roof and wont come down for love nor money, they obviously are not hungry. I must add that this is the first time they have been out since racing and are now in a different loft (widowhood loft not YB) Will they come down when they are hungry? Will the hens sit on the eggs on their own? Have i knackered my team by letting them out? Will they be ok if they stay out tonight? Thanks, just panicking Bob

  19. Hi all, I have approx 10-15 spare hens if anyone would like them, these would suit anyone looking for widowhood hens. I purchased these for £5.00 each, i have now got too many. These may also suit anyone starting up and want to take a chance on what they breed. Thanks Bob
  20. Hi, Ladies/Gents, Im just testing the water, please forgive me if i offend. Two weeks ago i purchased 24 Petron Widowhood Germon type boxes 6 lots of 4 high. I paid £1200+ carriage for these. There is a strong possibility i will have to let all my pigeon equipment go and pigeons. I would like to know if anyone is interested in making me a sensible offer for the lot. These boxes are still brand new never been used, they have white grilles and pull-out base unit. Thanks.......Bob
  21. Hi, I have had my lofts now for three years, one of them requires a new roof, at present it has 1/2 inch chipboard, which i will remove. The problem is, should i replace it with 3/4 inch ply or OSB or any other boarding, advise please would be extremely helpful. Thanks Bob
  22. What is hempcore? And where do you buy it from? How much? Sorry for the questions Bob
  23. Hi, I would like to purchase the last one please? LOL Great pictures Bob
  24. Would the members on this site please give me their opinion and why on the following: Would they prefere widowhood boxes side by side. (Box type with two plastic fronts) or Front to back like the German type. I am thinking of changing, at present i have 16 traditional side by side, but if i purchase Petron German type, i can fit in 24 boxes. Thanks Bob
