ray Posted July 11, 2006 Author Report Posted July 11, 2006 cheers john robo hope this isnt another one i can keep with so many fed wins i cant count the amount of fed winners ive reported and they said i could keep it
ray Posted July 11, 2006 Author Report Posted July 11, 2006 yes rose but i would rather have my bird back no matter what fed winner or not at least i know i have it back in my loft where it belongs
ray Posted July 12, 2006 Author Report Posted July 12, 2006 man phoned tonight he's 66 thinking of packing in sent 17 to thurso got 2 back he said theres thousands missing there race was on saturday the same day UNC where up from bourges and theres thousands missing from that race as well, makes you wonder if its the weather or some sort of magnetic field when its hotter. or these telephone mast overhead power cables throwing of more energy it has to be something for so many good pigeons to go missing like this these are good pigeons not mediocre ones birds that have done it before and not just once
REDCHEQHEN Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 Does that mean you're keeping it then ? ;D ;D
ray Posted July 13, 2006 Author Report Posted July 13, 2006 no no redcheqhen got to many of my own i said it was built up and wanted to go but once reported i couldnt let it go incase it didnt get home and i'd be up the creek but he said let it go in the morning so i did this morning i just think he didn't want to pay for it but anyway i took it about 5 miles away and it went in a tail wind so it should make it if not i tried
stevebelbin Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 thousands missing there race was on saturday the same day UNC where up from bourges and theres thousands missing from that race as well We had a good race from bourges with fairly good returns, considering the distance to most lofts in excess of 550miles.
ray Posted July 13, 2006 Author Report Posted July 13, 2006 thats nice to hear sbelbin boldon sent 63 birds i bet there aint 10 back but well done what sort of birds do you fly
stevebelbin Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 I got both mine back and they are both a blend of mainly Busheart blood. But I meant the UNC in general had good returns, or so I thought, here at Thornaby I know that we sent 30 and there is more than half back, which is pretty good for the distance. I had heard that some clubs had good returns and some didnt have so many.
ray Posted July 13, 2006 Author Report Posted July 13, 2006 i only know boldon colliery hs has got less than quarter back i would like to know what the returns are like but i bet its not good mind you i wouldnt send a pigeon if i thought it couldnt do it but thats just me
ray Posted July 15, 2006 Author Report Posted July 15, 2006 redcheqhenthat pigeon didnt go back i did liberate it the other day 5 miles away it came back to my loft but man phoned me today said it hadn't returned isaid it came back here he said when she's right she will make her own way home anyway she has 2 fed wins and a few others and she's a verheye and a good pigeon but obviously not good enough to send for but when she's ready doors open all day she'll go. but we will see if i new anyone going to gravesend in kent i would get them to take it
rockinrick Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 thats the same bloke that told me to jus chuck it out it will come home maybe it same bird i had in my yb loft, i think bloke needs reporting to rpra
