tubbles Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 you need to put the GB......... part of the ring on as all sorts of people use marker rings. Otherwise everyone with GB rings will be calling you.
knoxjn Posted August 1, 2008 Author Report Posted August 1, 2008 never thought mate cheers its gb 07 e
REDCHEQHEN Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 there were 99,999 'E' rings issued to various clubs in 2007 - can you please put the full number on - then we can identify the club the ring number belongs to Thank you
knoxjn Posted August 1, 2008 Author Report Posted August 1, 2008 if i put the full number on how am i to know the proper owner just trying to help shant bother next time will report through normal channels
ChrisMaidment08 Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 if i put the full number on how am i to know the proper owner just trying to help shant bother next time will report through normal channels without wishing to be rude are we mind readers no one is going to say its theres if no are they
jimmy_84 Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 know where you coming from but the bird is no good to anybody if it not registered to them only the owner will claim it also if you put number on here people will be able to tell you which club it comes from and possibly the owner
Peckedhen Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 if i put the full number on how am i to know the proper owner just trying to help shant bother next time will report through normal channels If you give the full number then we can identify which club the pigeon comes from and let you have the secretary's telephone number. You can check that it is the rightful owner claiming the bird by asking them to describe it - colouring etc.
Fair Play Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sometimes it's hard work if this was A NEW MEMBER then ok but with 16 postings surely you know the route.

jimmy_84 Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 why on earth would i come on as a wind up never mind its been reported through the rpra finished this year after 30 years did wonder why after reading the last few replies i just remembered Sorry if you were offended but if you have been in the sport then you must know that to identify the bird you need the full details on the ring to be sure who's bird it is
ChrisMaidment08 Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 why on earth would i come on as a wind up never mind its been reported through the rpra finished this year after 30 years did wonder why after reading the last few replies i just remembered not that i should point out but i will it might not be a bad thing you were only asked a civel question 30 years learnt nothing
knoxjn Posted August 1, 2008 Author Report Posted August 1, 2008 didnt realise there were so many bright people in the pigeon game makes you wonder how the sport is dying on its feet as i have already said its been reported on the official site so whoever is the owner will be notified next week
retired Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 why on earth would i come on as a wind up never mind its been reported through the rpra finished this year after 30 years did wonder why after reading the last few replies i just remembered As many on the site can testify its takes actual owners of birds reported all there time to want to send for a bird so the chances of someone sending for a stray not belonging to them is very low
knoxjn Posted August 1, 2008 Author Report Posted August 1, 2008 thanks valance lofts for a more civilised reply only trying to help its def a stock bird so dont want to take chances
Guest chrisss Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 no it might not be a stock bird, all of my young birds had/have clip rings on ,yellow for "my birds",[not many of them]green for birds given to me,black if they had a night out[there were a few of them!!!!]
knoxjn Posted August 1, 2008 Author Report Posted August 1, 2008 its a yearling mate the condition and wing lend me to think along the stock route but as someone said earlier dont know much thanks for the reply
