Guest kev d Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 i found him today in my neighbours garden GB05N27098 BLUE COCK he,s lucky to be alive he was face down in a hedge with his tail in the air with a twig right the way through his body i had to pull him off it ive never seen any thing like it . he,s in a nest box now i dont know if he will make it through the night . cheers kev d
Guest kev d Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 yes it is i got a bit upset seeing him like that it was one tough pigeon my neighbour said it was there for over two hours , she thought it was dead cos it was,nt moving , when i went to pick it up it started to move . cheers everyone .

Guest kev d Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 hi jannie , yes when i geta few spare minutes in the week i will try to find out who,s bird it is , if you say bristol im only 50miles from there it could have been on a training toss and got hit buy a hawk it was a lovely pigeon had a bit of class to it .
