pjc Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 there have been a few Barcelona/Tarbes etc races recently and i'm sure they would cross any portugese birds flying south westerly from france etc which could explain it if they have become mixed up.
blue lad Posted July 15, 2009 Author Report Posted July 15, 2009 I know its a puzzle to me mate.i dont think it will last night,boys on rig said it has been on for aweek before i got here.it was sitting under a container it wont drink or eat.we are approx 68mls off coast england.

blue lad Posted July 15, 2009 Author Report Posted July 15, 2009 Iv tryed that with birds before in a lot better condition than this poor bird.its been drinking out of muddy puddles for a week.and after a flight like that its done in.
john cumming Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 blue lad where abouts offshore r u?? we had a couple taken into aberdeen on the supply boat last week & released, they at least have a sporting chance!! pity then wont take them on the choppers nowadays,
