pannier wanted

was wondering if anyone has a pannier they would sell or lend

it is for a older member of the club

who was in a partnership and his partner has took all the equiptment

Not taking away from this thread Owen 101, but feel it is apt to make a point to PigeonPete regards his wire mesh, which incidently would be superb in this regards.

I think Pete could / should nit down to a carpet shop and get a few Cardboard tubes that carpet is wrapped around. Then wrap some of them 30 metres long rolls of mesh into to 10's and 15 metres. I.e. 3 x 10 metres ate £15, and 15 metres long at £25. Most people say 'It's too much'.... no one will buy yjem between them.

Gosh every club could a have their own panniers. Even show pens. Yes time to re - mesh or build averies. Great price. Yes a mite big for you Owen101  but ............  :-/

cheers for that Roland,  i opened 1 up last weekend, wish i hadnt!!!! erm, will never get it back together lol, Yes it is food for thought,  But its hard work wrestling with 1 on your own :-)

 

never thought of making panniers, erm, might source some wood, and sell them to all the clubs. Or send you the mesh Roly, and you can make, as you got plenty of time :-)

Yep soon will have lol. Only one section left to drouse a few doses of Bleach! Then same again with Vikron, Twice burn every 1/2 inch with a blow torch filling in every crack, knot or nail hole jionts. Get the slopping kids around then for 2 - 4 coats of paint and telling them never mind the mess.... another ten pence will be well spent then lol ;D!

the man that is after it is partially blind so he woldnt make his own

and im not very technical

so would be easier to buy a built pannier

just so that the man could take his pigeons to and from the club

Now in the training season I will be up grantham sometimes... If not sorted I will make one for him and bring it up like. Have Handles too etc. So just forward the sizes. So rest assured, if nowt comes up I will sort nearer the time.

yes that would be great how much would you like for them as you could build he will buy
