Was just wondering does anyone have any good pointers on preparing racing pigeons for shows best way to take dirt off and have them with nice shine etc

We use to steam bent flights and feathers over a boiled kettle

Any dirt marks use lighter fluid and a cotton dab

 

couple mins can use talc on it 

 

nice shine comes from good health and condition

as long as health there just maybe add some oil to feed couple days a week like the omega 3 pigeon vitality and a bit Multivitra to dry off

 

Keep fat off but maybe slightly heavier than they would be going a race so a feed with more fat content

A good dry clean loft and plenty hot baths
