cemetary Posted February 14, 2009 Author Report Posted February 14, 2009 Pic 2 The above training trailer is for sale, the trailer holds in the region of up to 1000 birds, we also have a smaller one available to sell along side this one, it will hold 400-450 birds, i dont have any photos of it at the moment, both the trailers can be hauled by a small car 1600 upwards. I will keep it on the forum until next sat night 9.00 oclock, and if there has been a reasonable offer for them, then they will be sold, there will also be a donation to the forum on the sale of them, it will only be advertised on pigeon basics. Sad day to see them go, they have helped a lot of people to get there birds trained over the years, they have also contributed to guys winning very good positions in the club, fed, open, and also 2 SNFC winners, one of them being the young bird National. So if you are interested in them, please feel free to PM me with your bid, and any other information you require. Only serious offers please. Dougie.
alex wight Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 A cracking trailer that does a cracking job. I,ve towed this trailer whilst training the birds, and you dont know its there. I felt that the birds had a comfortable journey whilst in there, and the ventilation is very good too. Sorry to see Mook and Dougie giving it up, but at times was probably a thankless job. All the very best boys, alex.
cemetary Posted February 14, 2009 Author Report Posted February 14, 2009 Yer right there ecky boy, the ones who went with us all the times had the best sitting waiting on the birds on arrival, and we always phoned a few to let them no what the weather was, and when they are getting up. This will be missed i can assure you on that.
alex wight Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 Yes a great service that will be sorely missed :'(
sapper756 Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 Yes a great service that will be sorely missed :'( Couldn,t agree more, it was an excellent service, the Fife guys will only be aware just how good it was, now that we don,t have it :-/
cemetary Posted February 14, 2009 Author Report Posted February 14, 2009 Thanks for the comments Brian, at the end of the day, the birds was the most important thing, not getting a couple of quid out of people, all those making there mouths go, and hardley supported the trailer when it was on the go, wait and see what it cost them to train there own birds now.
cemetary Posted February 14, 2009 Author Report Posted February 14, 2009 Thanks mate, will let you no what the outcome is.
