Has anybody heard from gladdo? bred him a pair of youngsters, and have never heard from him, other than to say thankyou, just wondering if he is ok :-/

i heard from him once ,, asking the breeding of an old cock i sent him [sent him 8], i didnt have time at that mo,, but pm,d him and explained ,, but i have asked him for ihu transfer forms [signed] on a few occasions ,, i feel terrible cause i sent birds to coey,, father and young son , and sent one rung for gladdo by mistake , i promised young coey to get a transfer ,,,,,but finding it difficult,

 

so if your looking gladdo, please send signed transfers  :)and ill send peds

hey few spelling  errors > > but  what ya expect  >:(ya  do m8s favour for  a m8  it  just  ya dont the hassel  of  the tranfers  to  stop birds proving themself what ever famliy birds thay  COME  FROM  : thay where gift  birds donted without  cost   just  with  rings so Transport to  the  vender was the only fee i  sure the birds  (Gladdo) being nice   surly  should  do  the desent thing  give out tranfere paper  for  the birds with his  ring on he couldnt  be botherd  to pick  up  :X hey give others  chance  of winning if ya  cant be botherd  > Speck

Bred 2 y/b's for gladdo myself and sent him a pm to say that was them ready but he still has'nt replied so another 2 crackers went into my race team

the guy never did anything wrong to me but then again i had nothing to give him, but i thought it was a bit fishy, he came on here begging for birds(not asking nicely) and he got all he needed, i wonder if anyone sent him a loft over as well :) or maybe im totally wrong and hes a good lad :B :B :B

Oh, what a suprise, he was so quick to shout and complain when he didn't get his free birds as soon as he wanted, sold his dog etc etc!

I didn't offer birds as I wasn't a member of this site at that point but probably would have as I am always happy to help new starters, unfortunatly some are just ignorent.

I wonder how his club mates will get on with his attitude?

It might be worth sending a note to IHU ref transfer explaining the situation and they may assist.

I've got two I bred him with IHU rings on. Too strong on the wing now and are flying around with my yb's. Shame as they are two lovely young birds and would have done somebody a bit good with a little luck.

 

I'll have to try in touch with him and get transfers its either that or get rid of them cause I can't race them otherwise

mick how were you to know what he would turn out like. you were only helping out a new starter from the fair city. i myself gave him some pairs at blackpool and took 10 rings to breed him some youngsters but logged on one night to see a post about how badly he had been treated blah blah blah and then he was having a go at jim bamling and jimmy white because thing were not going how he wanted so his rings went in the bin. i am always willing to help a new starter because of the genorisity which was shown to me when i restarted and i think the fanciers in general would always help someone starting  out.

 

i think mixxy sums it up perfectly in his post, some of the best and most generous fanciers live right on his doorstep so maybe we should have dug a little deeper.

Yeh, at least I met Gladdo, never got the chance with ma wee pal from Stoke on Trent, do not think Gladdo is in the same league as him, but yes as you say, been done before and no doubt it may happen again, hope no :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

the bird i have with gladdos ring on is doing great, just a shame it can't be raced. however, i will use it to breed from. after all the help he cried for and he can't have the decentcy to transfer his rings.

Well I feel sorry for you people that did him a favour, he did PM me asking how many birds I was breeding him?  Cheeky git I didnt even know him! I didnt like his atitude to be honest and told him NONE and thank the lord I did too! Maybe he will come back one day, probably with a sob story mind, and hope he finds a post or two where people that have won with the birds you all bred for him as that would be justice for your hard work in way that would really rub it in.

At this point - for whatever reason - Gladdo isnb't here to tell us what is going on. There seems to have been some misdemeanors on Gladdo's part, however he isn't here to answer these.
