andrew Posted April 20, 2006 Author Report Posted April 20, 2006 i suggested a website which i think is the best on the net for buying top quality birds which i still beleive is true but this site is the best site for diffrent things such as getting infroatmion news etc etc, pipa is a good site for international links but not as good at providing news so each web site has their own speciality!

Pigeon Basics is the best Internet interactive information site on the face of the Planet, you only have to see the answers given to Westy and other new flyers, the American PML has been slowly going down the tubes for years for the want of a better word "Bully Boys" who tend to shoot people down. As for sites giving information especially to new flyers, I would like to think our web site www.redroselofts.com is the best there is especially as we have published plans for a starter loft and we know for a fact these lofts have been built all over the world and brought new flyers into the sport. anybody can put a web site up to sell pigeons

The site that you have listed very often offers pigeons for sell at double there market value and cost! Very often pigeons that have cost only a 100 euros end up on sites like these at 300 or 400 euros. Remember in Holland there is a price for the Dutch and then a price for the rest, the key is to get the Dutch price! I recently had a call from a man that had been quoted 500 euros a pigeon from a famous flyer of De Klaks, he asked if i could get a better price and we did 150 euros each at the door!!!!! Indeed Andrew took out some advertising for a time, and of course thanks to everyone who participated in the recent Funds Auction we had (sellers may have donated to the auction - I didnt take a sellers tally!). Just the way I see it; if someone wants to sell a couple of items on here, thats fine , if someone wants to buy a few items off here, thats fine - 2 happy visitors so far and if the seller then wishes to give us a donation for providing the platform to sell the item(s), thats fine too - 2 happy visitors and a happy webmaster....lol :)
