andrew Posted January 24, 2007 Author Report Posted January 24, 2007 Internet bids at http://www.GemSupplements.com

andrew Posted January 26, 2007 Author Report Posted January 26, 2007 4 Days Left to bid on these cracking young birds birds start from £45 bid via auction site
Wiley Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 dont ya think £45 is a bit of a hefty starting bid andrew?? These are babies untested and the apple has fallen quiet far from the tree in these cases! Most yb auctions starting bid is 20-25
ALF Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 MAYBE THATS WHY THERE HAS BEEN NO BIDS YET WILEY ALTHOUGH THE YOUNG BIRDS ARE CRACKERS!!!
Wiley Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 have to agree they do look nice, but for £45 quid for young birds that are untested for opening bid i cant blame them, especially where there quiet far away from the tree
andrew Posted January 27, 2007 Author Report Posted January 27, 2007 Hi, by saying they are too far away from tree i think you can miss read that yes they are possibly far from may be 613 or somthing but most of the parents from these birds must have the following to be in my stock: 1. Children from Directs 2. Be A Direct 3. From Classic / National Winners 4. be a winner theirself on the road 5. or be a proven breeder withought atleast one of the above they will not enter by stock loft i am reducing this down further next year to get even better standards within my breeding stock. Well if you wanted to race these birds they would have to be untested! lol i dont thinkn £45 is expensive for a young bird, if these birds do not sell they are been raced for me elsewhere!
Wiley Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 i understand were you are coming from! But i do not think you understand were i am coming from with the untested comment! If i go to a yb auction £45 is the maxium i would go up for a young bird as one its untested, and you could easily let it out if you lose it! Thats the reason that i said £45 is steep for an opening bid, as many people do not like to go over around that price range for those reasons!
mac1 Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 how way lads stop nagging again, andrew must think that they are worth the money and to be honest they look the part and sound really good.if i was looking for good..
