HI A LAD WHO PURCHASED BIRDS FROM ME JAMIE AKA COXY RECOMMENDED THE SITE TO ME.

I HAVE RACED FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS NOW ALL OF THE BIRDS THAT I HAVE ARE PURE WHITE OR 99.9% WHITE AND I HAVE DONE VERY WELL WITH THEM!

THE MAIN BREEDS THAT I CARRY ARE;

LOGANS

BUSSCHAERTS

CAMEL CARDONS

I HAVE COMPETED AT BOTH CLUB AND NATIONAL LEVEL AND RACE IN 1 CLUB 1 FED MCC AND MNFC!!!

I DO NOT CARRY MANY BIRDS I THOUGHT I WOULD SAY THIS AS FROM THE NUMBER OF CLUBS I MENTIONED IT MAY SEEM ASTHO I DO!

I HAVE 14 WIDOW COCKS

AROUND 30 YOUNG BIRDS

AND AT THE MINUTE I HAVE TO GET RID OF MY STOCK DUE TO LACK OF SPACE WHICH IS A GREAT SHAME AS THEY ARE ALL PROVEN BREEDERS

ALL OF THE BIRDS IN MY LOFT HAVE TO HAVE BRED SOMETHING OR WON SOMETHING TO STAY THERE AS I HAVE A VERY SMALL TIGHT SET-UP AND CANNOT AFFORD TO CARRY RUBBISH

THINK IVE FINNISHED THE ESSAY NOW ANYTHING ELSE FEEL FREE TO ASK

Hi All

i first started with pigeons when i was about 9 years of age with a young street pigeon it had a bad wing i had it a few years always came back in the evening then it just vanished.

i was hooked from then on it was about 40 years ago time flys so quick

got some rollers from the local pet shop 10p each lol and a chap in his 80's gave me a few racers.

a few years later we moved dad took my racers to loose them they was back before he was.

got my son into the racing pigeons he thought rollers was boring he loved them untill next doors 2 cats took most of them.

i had about 100 rollers went away for 2 weeks all was dead :( daughter left the door unlocked.

and to top that she unplugged the fridge freezer to use the irion and forgot to plug it back in i came back to a smelly wet kitchen and loft.

great forum so glad i found it

take care all :)

Thought I would introduce myself after using the sight for two weeks. Born & raised in North London, now living in the North West and shortly off to Wiltshire. Always kept birds even at university - friends were bemused by my goldie mule. Started early climbing into to derelict buildings (risking life and limb) to retrieve gay coloured squeakers then graduated to white pigeons purchased at an auction. Bred and kept all types of cage and aviary, poultry & pheasants and pigeons.  I am now just keep my flying breeds of pigeons - various continental Highfliers/Performers - To me a pigeon has to fly ! The higher the better !

Hi folks.

Just found this site and have enjoyed reading through the posts etc.

I am up in Oban, west coast of sunny Scotland. I have had pigeons for 5 years now, mainly Birmingham rollers, a few Orientals and some racers. There are no clubs anywhere near me or I would race the birds.

Introducing myself, have been racing pigeons most of my life, also breeding linnets and linnett mules,am in process of introducing Birmingham Rollers again ,courtesy of a pair of European Eagle Owls now domiciled 6 miles from me who have made the area somewhat safer from aerial pirates, really enjoy this site.

Hi and welcome to the site, your tumbler may have went back to it's original home, if you still have the contact details of original owner give him/her a phone and let them know anyway then they know to look out for it. :)
