red1chq3 Posted October 27, 2008 Author Report Posted October 27, 2008 After re reading the thread . Sorry redcheq i cant be constructive in your sale of this pigeon . You put a photo of a cheq cock with no history about the pigeon ? How long have you owned him ? ONE YEAR Whats he bred ? his 6 yer old . NUMEROUS BIRDS TO SCORE FROM THE CHANNEL(FLYING INTO NI) Why not show original signed pedigree on post ? DON'T HAVE A SCANNER For what anyone knows you might of only had the pigeon for a day and may have been given him for nothing ? i PAID QUITE A BIT MORE THAN NOTHING I would hate a new starter spends hard earned on a pigeon just because he thinks it looks nice . I ALWAYS OFFER A DIRECT RETURN POLICY WITH MONY BACK GARANTEE. I hope this adaquatly answers all your question Sir, kindest regards. Sale of this pigeon does not look good to me . THIS LINE PARTICULARY ANNOYS ME, CAN I ASK ON WHAT GROUNDS YOUR JUDGMENT IS BEING MADE, OR IS IT YOU HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO??, I WONDER!! To maybe help with the sale of the pigeon start by posting copy of original pedigree and answer the above . Breezer
PIGEON_MAN Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 I am going to stick my neck out here and ask fellow PB members for constructive comments as to why they think/opinion as to why a pigeon as well bred as this cock is sitting with not as much as sniff of intrest (apart from the nice posts by some members about the bird) on this site, it's not sour grapes on my behalf by no means, but it amazes me. How many other birds as well bred as this cock are offered on this site?, not many, anyways I could go on, but I would appricate your CONSTRUCTIVE COMMENTS please, kindest regards. Personally i would never buy a pigeon on a pedigree no matter what it was bred off or how much it was,I,ve noticed that there are lots of stock pigeons suddenly comming up for sale on here with fantastic pedigrees but in most cases no mention of what they have bred which when buying a stock pigeon surely is the most important thing you want to know. I would never sell a pigeon that was breeding me winners, but I would a bird with a pedigree as long as your arm that wasn,t.
rooster Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 i don't keep prisoner stock birds , but must say for £150 this is a bargain buy ,
Merlin Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Would agree with rooster it appears to be very good value for asking price, there are lots of variables as regards breeding, its usually down to buyer how competent they are at matching birds, buyer should always keep this in mind, but for these type of distance bloodlines, easily well worth the money asked in my opinion. I have just read where Red Chg has posted a money back return if not satisfied, fair play, dont see a lot of that about, well done R.C 1.
Guest Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 i know we all say christmas is coming, well i would'nt mind getting a pigeon for a christmas pressie. in fact us girls are always saying " i dont know what to get him for christmas" . well now you know. oh cracking bird red1chq3
red1chq3 Posted October 27, 2008 Author Report Posted October 27, 2008 Just was thinking, a lot of question about about performance, breding and what a bird has bred etc, but what about the fanciers that would buy from the nest, and in some cases 400, 500 even up to 5000(children of TIP's at the moument)!!!

Breezer breezer i can see where ur coming from but one point you made about ...he may have had the pigeon for nothing?.....what has it do with you or anybody what he gave for the bird and what does that have to do with the price of the bird, if you was given a porsch car for nowt but didnt want it...does that mean you give it away? you pointed out decent points in ur post but this one only i didnt agree with. its only my opinion m8. but there are too many interupting for sale birds posts , ive had some recently where they were disruptive and not constructive..
breezer Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 So the pigeon has bred numerous winners out of the channel for the previous owner ? Does the pigeon have original signed pedigree by the breeder ? Why would you want a 150 pound bid on here when you have 200 pounds elsewhere ? Just curious Breezer
red1chq3 Posted October 27, 2008 Author Report Posted October 27, 2008 I thought it might have been obiviuos that the young of this cock to fly the channel was obviusly before I had ever owned the bird, mind you in saying that we do have 2 occasions were we can fly or bird's over the channel as young birds. With the greatest respect, I would have thought this would have been obivious from the posting, kindest regards.

red1chq3 Posted October 27, 2008 Author Report Posted October 27, 2008 Would anyone like to make me a reasonable offer for this cock before I pull the plug, He really is a top class pigeon, and seeing is beliving, but I cannot give him away, I have been made an offer, as I said but not from a PB member, and as I have advertised thiss bird on PB only I would prefer it to go to a PB member, kindest regards. Breezer did you miss the above?, as I said I had first offered the bird on PB and that I wanted to go to a PB member, so I was willing to take a hit, I am a man of my word. What is you problem anyway, kindest regards.
