ill leave my answer to the ones ive dealt with in recent weeks....these birds are nice in the hand and come from out of louella birds. as ive said the hen is a lot better than the cock in the hand.

paul from bassaleg has called and seen the birds parents and handled these young amongst others.

asha not everyone has to be like you , as ive said b4, anyone can visit my loft, ive nothing to hide, but why have you decided a one man crusade to ruin my sales? ive never spoken to you b4?

if you feel im conning people then thats your view....but unless youve got proof then its best you keep ur views to urself.

ive answered all questions asked me in here or pm.

Hi Strapper,

                      What do you mean?

"becaue of the quality of these busshaerts i only want serious bids"

a bids a bid, same as those 2 birds, who says they are quality?quality what/ racers?,breeders, they are youngsters ,is this so?louella will be selling plenty of stuff bred  like this for £30/40 direct from themselves, these 2 birds are not direct at all, just what you have bred yourself,so they are NOT bred by louella is this not so?

asha as always trying to make someone look small , where does it say ive stated that these youngsters are louella directs?

1st point.... again ur incorrect!

2nd point .....who said i bred these myself?

two main points where ur wrong!

try putting on ur glasses on and see that ive stated that these are bred out of louella directs(which i have.. )..as ive said one again ur inacurate

slowly making a name for urself by stating inaccuracies aint we?

hi all.ive just come from pauls and purchased some more birds from him which im really pleased with, ive seen and handled the birds in question and i can tell you  that these are a really nice well bred pair.if they do not sell on here i will probably going be going back for them.paul felt that it would be unfair to sell them to me when they had just been posted on here.i am very selective with the birds that i purchase but these two are definately on my aquiring list.every bird that i have purchased from paul has been well worth the money payed and i am over the moon with them.my thanks to you again paul.

Well I won't get drawn into a argument that I won't be involved in. I.e. buying these birds... I personally thought that the Darks were great, and was very tempted, very tempted indeed... too slow decided what I have, and what I have to be tried out.

But having said that, I must admit, - and no disrespect to Paul, indeed as I rate him and his birds... but then who am I to say ... But I thought that Asha speaks very sensible realism. Abrupt maybe, impertinent even... yes, but does fire from the hip, and as we all know, it doesn't matter a jot who has had, or can vouch, even able to give credence too, Asha has made a very honest point. Maybe a stirrer, maybe a antagonises, who knows, indeed who cares, the points in this case are valid.

Now I feel I may well have blown my chances of buying some birds off of Strapper, which is mores the pity if so, but nissed or not, I have to speak as I find, see etc.

i thinkthat if you're going to buy birds ,then the ones on this site, sold by genuine fanciers offer perhaps the best value you can find  . i'm happy with my pigeons....but i was tempted by the 'darks'(the only time since i've been a member). however,  i think roland is right and i'm only ashamed i was to guttless to post earlier when asha was being slated...my only excuse is that i didn't want to start an argument on strappers thread.  best of luck with your sale

roland and spin cycle i do not hold any grudges against you two for your comment because they are constructive, but this is twice now that asha has made comments on one of my sales in recent weeks where he has no interest wotsoever in the sale , as i stated ask anyone who ive dealt with as to what they think of me and my birds...thats the best answer anyone can give..proof is in the eye of the beholder and they have very kindly commented on my sales to them....and to be honest they have all been tidy fanciers.

what asha is doing is quetioning my honesty and if he really knew me he would know the truth.

so what i say again is if anyone doubts my honesty come take a look at the birds i have and judge then, its no good judging someone on a pc that you have never met ,unless they make snide comments about you

im not a fly by night thats trying to make a quick buck from these birds...as im not asking big money for any bird ive sold.

if anyone wants proof what im like ask these fanciers who are all members of this site....

mac 1

blaz

vinnie

paul10121968

chairman

ask them what im like and did they feel ripped off after recieving the goods.

roland and spin cycle i honestly respect ur views and feel that as long as the questions are asked in a friendly way ...then there is no harm done...but roland as uve seen for urself and thought the same way i did at the way i was questioned by asha.

so i repeat what ive said if anyone wants to visit ,see the peds, handle the birds wotever i hide nothing ,uve all seen my set up my birds pics nothing great but honesty is what im trying to show people who buy from me, otherwise where will being dishonest get me selling birds in the future?

im trying to buld a rep as easy and honest to deal with....if anyone questions that then they must have proof.

ive been the sec now of my local club for 5yrs and chairman for 2 yrs b4 that..if my honesty was in question i dont think id be in office for that long.

so i finnish thanking all the fanciers that have bought from me and i know they wil continue to do so.

For what it's worth, I think Asha makes some very good points.  These appear to be Louella birds with very few details.  They may be in super condition, but wouldn't prospective buyers  want to know the basis of their "quality" certification, eg have they been trained or raced, and if so how well have they come?

the way i see it is...if i said these birds were off direct louella birds and im giving them away, id have questions asked ..if they are that way bred why am i giving them away , so i cant win either way .

i remember recently where a good number of birds were being sold for £15-£20 each.. no details on these birds wot so ever yet no questions asked!....these birds sold .

if i was asking big money for these birds then i would have given peds, but for what im asking, is less than what some pay for young  birds  to race.

also this thread was for me to sell birds , but its building into a different thread.
