I have a nest pair of Roland Janssens ready now. These were sold but the guy changed his mind.

Please see pics....these are in excellent condition.

They are Grand children of 'Filmstar' 'Filmstar' is from Champion 'Super Kweker 11'

'Filmstar' is one of the many winners featured on the 'Around Antwerp 9' video.

I know quite a few people with Roland Janssen pigeons, if fact there are some in our Club. I have never heard of anyone winning anything with them. How do you get on with them? What are your losses like? Do they make a good cross with your other birds? What sort of distances do they favour? I am interested because I would like to have some grizzle pigeons. My concern is that I would not want to bring in new blood and spoil a family that is doing well.

there are no guarantee's in racing which ever strain you bring in. you pay your money and take the chance.

of course you are right. But my question still stands. Luella have given this strain of pigeon a lot of publicity and I wondered if it is just bull or if there is any basis for their claims.

I race the roland jannsenns pigeons and have won a few races with them, mine are all direct that i breed from and crossed them with other pigeons, louella buys the champions and then you pay your money and take your chance, dont forget louella is a stud farm for pigeons sells thousands of birds and breeds some winners, keep them healthy fit and if their anygood you will win with them. I always buy from people who race pigeons and win............chances are the rubbish has gone.......easy
