  2. We try and use onlt spring water, not out of a well, but from local springs that have been taped with a flow pipe. Has all the minerals from nature free, just get it tested to make sure it is a good spring. We fill 5 gallon jugs like those on water coolers. Always have 2 at the loft

it is when someone is longer in distance than another. Like 1 to 2 miles over fly of the shorter loft. You have to divide the extra distance and time, if both birds flew for a totatal of 75 min and one had to fly 3 miles longer it would win as it did the distance faster

  5. How many was that ?
  6. Mine will have 50 tosses before the 1st race at least, 90% will be from 35 miles the longest will be 70 miles it took 9 tosses to get to 35 miles alone. The 35 mile point is what I call the final break point to win want them to do it in there sleep :-) our first race is 127 miles for me
  7. Put the ETS chips on the birds today and took some photos of the chips and clock and placed them on the Photo page http://hometown.aol.com/chatrace2001/photo.html
  8. Well the radar police here just sent me a ticket for one of my birds speeding down the Freeway. I knew it was coming as when the bird clocked it there was a message stating it had been clocked doing 65 in a 55 mile per hour zone. I was glad for the speed, but not thatthe band could be traced to my ETS system. I will have to ask if they could come over and help me clock on race day as I have 6 docking jacks that can be used. If you all think this is true I can sell you some sunny weather in a can you can open on race days
  9. If you get one try and find a used Radar unit like the ones the Police use here for speeders, the hand held ones. You can hook it up to your clock and just have to hit your bird with a beam and get it clocked. save having to have the loft open. You can go down the road and wait for them to fly over and get a few clocked early. :
