Thanks Harry sorry for your loss. Seeing as this is gaining momentum I can say at this point if I get 40 entries this will stand as a syndicate on it's own. Hi Members here is a letter I sent to the Headmistress of Westfield school for less abled children I think it is self explanitory This is a PB member (robbiedoo) I think you will all agree this is a wonderful gesture by Robbie. :) I have been speaking to Robbie Higgins (Fraserburgh) about the pigeon race I hold with some rather good prize money. Robbie has told me to enter (i) bird in the race in the name of Westfield School.(Fraserburgh) This bird will belong to the children of Westfield school during the young bird race season of 2009. This bird will be fully paid for by Robbie Higgins. All money won will be paid to Westfield school for you to spend as you please. I will send you all the information on how the race is run for your perusal & info only, you will have nothing to do. Because this is a generous offer by Robbie I will send you a photograph of the bird for the children to see and give it a name if they wish. The bird will be bred in the year 2009. I hold a raffle for the participants to come along and see all is well. This raffle will be held on Sunday the 21st May. The ring number will be issued to you soon after so you will have a number and photograph for the children to see. You will get a race report E-mailed to you each Monday after each race so the children can keep track of their bird. I hope to have a web site set up by then. I am delighted Robbie has chosen to be the first to enter a bird for school children. I also have two entered for CLAN the Aberdeen cancer charity by other fanciers.
