I am of to Troon on Monday and returning tuesday back to Aberdeenshire. If any fanciers need birds collecting i may be able to Help. Just kindly make sure the collection of these doo's are not too far from Troon and i can head back to Aberdeenshire around 8am tuesday morning. A couple of miles either way will not kill me to go out of my way. I can call into fife on my way home as well..Be good if i could be met on the motorway somewhere with strays from fife.!! Hi Graeme. The guy who has this pigeon is a non fancier and openly admits he has not got a clue how to care for the doo's Please contact him if you can and collect the doo.It is down the docks in Montrose. Go through the docks security barrier and ask for Graeme clarke who works for Walter whites...Graeme's number is 07810628333 As i explained in my previous post he would try and get it to aberdeen and lib' but i think it may be safer if you collect to look after. Hi All. Thanks for your help in trying to repatriate this pigeon to the owner.I have called the said fancier and left him a message. I may be down that way very soon but failing that i have contacted the finder and he will see if he can get it up the road for ally'.. Always nice these birds are reported if nothing else! David

I will buzz him and see. My wife saw a doo in Bath park last week and swore it was Blackies doo....slightly of course dont you think!! David

SU11 M 1095 I spoke to Mr Rankin(Sec) a couple of nights ago about this pigeon and a nice manhe was, he kindly told me he would contact the owner.I am sure he's done this. As yet i have not had a response. Would anybody know the owner of this pigeon.? The ironic thing is i may be able to get the pigeon home to the owner next week. I lost 22 yearlings at the weekend and they weren't all scrap ..i would be chuffed to get one back..!! Got a call from SSPCA tonight. Man in upper Strathdon found a doo on Saturday trying to take a drink from the tin on his shed roof thinking it was water.. He caught it and has fed it on wild bird seed and gave it a drink. His wife has been giving it cold black tea with sugar in on the instructions of SSPCA..Good move if you ask me as it looks quite well. Picked it up tonight in the middle of god knows where and i have it safely in a box for return to the owner. Any ideas who's it may be? Cheers DAVID
