  15. one of my entries failed to return from the first Gran Canaria flight, i have five left in total so would assume the other 4 will be split into Group B and C? two hurdles to cross then the Hotspots start, numbers maybe greatly reduced by then but this is when the real excitement starts if your lucky enough to have any left ... one thing for sure this type of racing sure sorts them out, so if your brave enough to enter get them in next year instead of boring us with statistics that most of us arent interested in!!! PUT YER MONEY WHERE YIR MOUTH IS!!!
  16. no prob bud, we all hope the other groups have a better race... at least splitting in three groups gives fanciers a second and third chance, fingers crossed eh!

In 2011 the first flight from Gran Canaria had 1708 entries... only 19 pigeons made it home on the day of liberation Day 2 seen 153 pigeons arrive home, day 3-6 accumulated another 56... total 209, 12.23% returns! Like i said a lot of these pigeons will be drifting about the coast line, lets hope they pluck up the courage to cross the ocean tomorrow... i would hope for about 30 pigeons tomorrow?
