Sea Training 02 was once again a huge success today... returns 99% happy to say all Scottish entrants hope in good time!

full returns for all the Scottish teams, good enough at this stage... these training races are all down to the trap, 10 seconds could be the difference between 1st and 50th, bit of fun but we all had a good race! will post the positions later... :scotland:

TRAINING 11 MOVIE now on the website... what a great site watching the footage of 815 fit young pigeon compete from all parts of the world, bred in lofts separated by 1000's of miles and now competing as one team, brilliant!!! :D

TRAINING 11... returns 98%, only 16 pigeons remain untimed at the moment! OFF SHORE TRAINING begins next week! BIO!! :emoticon-0123-party: c'mon Scotland... :scotland:

another 5 today, total now 815... not too bad! TRAINING MOVIE 10 now on the website... actual footage of the lib and arrivals, with a selection of Jose latest tunes being a composer of music!

falcons have been in amongst them the last three flights, hence gappy returns and some losses... the video footage is great for finding this out, nothing covered up... totally transparent! good luck for the remaining races and lets hope we all make the Final :scotland:

not disputing what your saying mate, we all face challenges in all aspects of life... getting a pigeon to the Final of this OLR is a challenge I thrive on and obviously the many fanciers who enter every year, if it doesn't suit you or your pigeons then you obviously don't enter and take your chances else where... but I can guarantee you that most OLR throughout the world pose major disappointments along the way, the SCMDPR was a prime example at the weekend, and no disrespect to the Scottish OLR last year but it did end with a very poor birdage at the final also, no different from the Derby Arona... we can dribble on for ever looking at the many 'pro's n cons' of OLR, at the end of the day I enjoy it and from the interest this tread creates every year many of the fanciers following this thread enjoy it also passing many a boring hour during the closed season, so lets keep it that way and BEST OF LUCK to all the remaining entrants

780 now, they still trickling in... been another testing training race Team Doolanders, Team Seashore and Jock Ross have all done great with full returns, well done lads

too far and too hot for youngsters imo mate... no matter what OLR you send every country has different obstacles, different terrain, different climates etc... but end result always appear the same, very little make it or return come the final stages... Scotland no different

it would appear all OLR races get hammered at some stage, it the name of the game... look what happened at the SCMDPR on Saturday, they were 3000 down on the day!!!
