I just spoke to the farmer and he said that the barley he sells is for malting, if it does not reach a certain grade it goes for feeding :-/

The Edinburgh (racing) pigeon show held the birds for two days, this allowed fanciers that could not come both days or one or the other. Just a thought to increase spectators and maybe gain members to the fancy :-/
