You can get anything underwritten on an insurance policy if you find a broker and pay the premium We had a special policy drawn up for sport coaches and club members, wasn't worth the paper it was written on, but kept us in the clear with public liability What if the club ets went up in flames and burnt the house down(a bit extreme but possible) what insurance company would pay out :'( :'( :'(

New one to me the other day Fill a barrel with water for rats or a pale for mice......keep the water sufficient enough below the top, put oats or other floating food to attract them on the top of the water. They go in thinking it is solid and end up being trapped or drowned :-/

Surely there should be an agenda for the meeting AGM's are normally passing the last years minutes, election or re-election of office bearers and then any other business, this is the time to air your views and have them minuted, this is where you ask to hve race programmes etc to be discussed with the members at a certain time of the year It may be in previous minutes that certain officials decide these this year then you have no argument Sometimes resolutions have to be submitted beforehand and backed by two clubs to have them heard but all this should be in your draft resolution or in ammendments to it, "if its there it's fair"and so it goes "if it's no their then it's no fair"
