Sorry but never made it, the traffic for the forth road bridge was way back to Rosyth/Dumfermline turn off, cut off there and tried to come in at coast road, tried to go through Inverkeithing, tried skipping traffic in lane to park and ride, all the same chock a block and going nowhere fast No intentions of buying , but planned to go along and see the birds and take photos to post on the site, so I gave up and headed hame :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

This post is going way off the point, as members we are asking for protection as buyers by implimenting some more simple rules and guidelines Plain and simple truth is You should get what you paid for Why advertise birds and no tell anybody where they can get them from If you post details and a potential buyer asks for more details why moan about it If a sale goes wrong it is not the site owners fault as long as the site guidelines have been followed If the site guidelines are not sufficient enough then why can't they be improved to help protect the members If the site owners know or made aware of a member who deliberately cons other members then they have a duty to make its members aware
-
I would just like to get after been mug enough to buy them :'( :'( :'(
-
Aye if people would just answer simple questions instead of beating round the outback Sheila;D ;D ;D
-
YOU ARE JUST THE MAN FOR THE JOB Proposed by "me" seconded by "him" And passed by them SORTED, MEETING ADJOURNED ;D ;D ;D

AYE £10 to buy will always be what you paid for it £10, but if it became the best pigeon ever on record and breeding. I bet it would not be a £10 pigeon at a sale :-/

Fourth point first, yes buyer has to be careful but the place that allows the adverts has to have guidelines to protect buyers and sellers First point second, I thought it was an 8x6 holding loft in the fact it had no way for birds to be let out. traps stalls etc. Through the small mesh panel there were no signs of nesting boxes or perches. Coxy is not a capatalist that buys for a pond and sells for a profit, he is a prolific con man Third and forth point third, he is not a business so you are dealing with a private sale so you have different consumer rights, Coxy new exactly what he was doing, If he sent nothing then I would have a clain on Paypal He sent part allowing for courier to be questioned He sent as a gesture of good will similar items to what I ordered so making it harder to take him to small claims court, because it would draw out in arguments and make it a worthless task I and other members would like to buy pigeons from members on the site, with the knowledge that when we send our money we get what we paid for. And if a sale simply goes wrong we can ask them to explain, but if we are conned then that member be highlighted to protect other members from the same fate So Caveat emptor when dealing with conmen or conmen beware your details will be posted for all to see Bruno how can you say I am wrong on all counts, then you go off point and twist around things and look for loopholes in what I say, and answer with no relevance sometimes, copy something from the internet, cross reference posts to try and prove a point, then talk in a foreign language. If that does not work then you throw in your Moderators Hat and say you are beyond question, when I ask something specific, or just delete it before someone sees it if you are not happy with it or cannot answer it Straight forward questions Do want improvements to protect fellow members on the site on all issues? Is the site rules set in stone and beyond changing? Are moderators beyond question in their decisions and if so why?

Unless your name is Tammy ;D ;D ;D
-
Hope it's not for the same reason as the performer formally known as Prince did ;)
-
Sorry to hear that, did you advertise them on the site or in a paper classifieds. Sadly we are all at risk of being turned over someway. but the simple truth is we have to supply basic details for the buyer to post payment or collect the items for sale wherether it be a pigeon or a rolls royce or you meet some where and arrange changeover and that brings it's own risks as well :-/ :-/ :-/
-
Aye, more interested in the beak theory that a fancier pointed out even on pure white pigeons pairings :-/
-
Yer asking about an advert in May 2007, a long shot I think :-/

Fair doos Does not matter what your birds are worth in pounds, becuase no matter what, it is all you have if something happens to them 8 white Logan's was for Chickadees birthday, the £160 was nothing to the let down and the feeling of being conned by someone, I see some birds on the site worth more than all eight birds and much more. Surely you have to buy pigeons at one time or be given them the same as us just starting up Scum bags would rob their Grannies for a pound not just us, at least if I have the address I can chap their doors OK I never got the 8 white logans but I got 8 white birds and two coloured ones and a basket for my money some would say lucky me, and Chickadee has took them on board and will enjoy them. also the great members on the site have given her birds and promised her birds. But that does stop me from wanting a meeting up with Coxy some day, Best outcome so far is he is black listed, worst outcome he has made some of us paranoid about buying birds on the site And if the site can be improved by better policing of sales then even better I would say Duncan

That about sums it up

I agree that you should only be able to sell anything on the site if you are willing to supply personal details Buyers need these details anyway to send the payment, Regards the argument of internet fraud stealing these details if you post them on the site, it is no different from the electoral register that is used by every telesales company in the world Loft numbers are a problem as some of us don't have one yet, and members that keep show birds do not have one example would be Duncan Reid AKA DOVEScot 3 Cadham Crescent KY7 6PG What's the problem with that if you have nothing to hide If you have anything worth stealing then theres a lot easier ways than on the site to do it
