Yes and that was almost 30 years ago they were winning some. I am starting a partnership next year racing for the first year with a guy who has raced well in the past but no longer physically able to do so, so here's hoping he keeps me right. Chickadee my better half has a fair collection of fancy pigeons as well

There are idividuals and groups that meet up over the w/e, to meet everyone is a task but great having a good try My niece(brothers daughter) had Leukemia when she was a toddler and she is now 30+ and happily married with two kids so there is light at the end of the tunnel All the best Duncan

You won't get the same atmosphere as the pubs and clubs around the NIA and NEC are always used where at Blackpool it is closed season and open purposely for that w/e and you would not get all the sales in the hotels central to the event :-/

I have done loads of events at birmingham bothe NEC an NIA and altough it is a great venue you will not get the accommodation and socialising as close to the venue as you would at Blackpool, and probably not as cheap either :-/

Aye some place central like Fife ;D ;D ;D I think you would be hard pushed to get the venue and the accommodation that is on offer altogether at Blackpool for the numbers that attend also the clubs and pubs for the mass exodus all at one time:-/

You cannae beat building it yourself, great job and you are right you would not be able to buy one the way you have built it. I used some of the white plastic perches as well, not sure if it was the best idea as the birds tend to go for the wooden ones first
