We had six spare ones, what we do is replace the dirty ones then steep them in Jeyes fluid or bleach in a tray with block on top to keep them submerged, then a couple of days later scrub with a brush and rinse in a bleach solution, dry and do the next six.
Thanks guys it worked fine, only trouble is while we are holding it it stays deflated, but when we put it back in the nest it inflates again, we had to do it a third time. This time we are keeping it held to see if it make any difference.
We have held it now for about 15 mins and it is staying deflated :-/

We found this squeaker fantail like this and having never seen anything like it, would like to know what is wrong with it and what best to do with it :-/
Just heard a story tonight that a fancier had birds with twisted necks and an Asian guy told him to pee in the drinkers for two weeks and the birds were fine after it, the story teller seemed genuine :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ It maybe just a lot of P*** ;D ;D ;D
We just heard about it tonight and bought a tube from the feed farm, it was advised as one inch of past to be mixed with some warm water and added to a two litre drinker, I will check with them tomorrow in case we got it wrong.
We were talking about it tonight with the Edinburgh guys and they swear by it
