thanks for the replies. I think it may me, as i am currently refitting the loft with new boxes. the moving or scaring the birds is having effect on unfertile eggs. instead of them sitting on plastic eggs or laying unfertile eggs, i think it will be best if I just get hold off real eggs and let them raise the youngs. I have manged to get hold of five eggs from local lofts. The birds are happy. So hence I have not missed out on the bredding season or lose any of the adult birds. please help. many thanks

Hi there all fanciers, Most of my pigeons are getting old and rasing poor quality of youngs. I am losing too many youngs because of this. Some are even giving unfertile eggs. So far the pigeons have been sitting on plastic eggs so that they can go through their natural instinicts. But i would like them to raise some youngs so hence I am seeking for some foreign pigeon eggs? If anyone can help or sell me some eggs then please email me. Must be located in the Birmingham Area. Hi there Check the eyes, if watery then you need antibotics as it will be cold eye illness. Which will lead to respoary then do death. The vet prescribes brytril. But tablets are avaliable that do a better job. Thanks

hi there What a waste of money. When I rang up I was told all type of pigeon including tipplers, tumbers, racers and other breeds. got there and paid nthe entrance fee- ten minutes later i was on the way out. I did not meet anyone that I knew in the racing game. What a scam - so I complaint but was only given an apology and a excuss which was the bird flu. I think we need organise a better one locally. thanks

Hi there A African Grey Parrot approx one year old plus. Has been rescued from a neglected keeper. The parrot needs a new and secure home with alot of attention. Hi all true fanciers. There seems to be alot of auctions starting up this year. What is the policy or procedure when you regonise a bird in an auction sale. The bird which belongs to you, and not for sale. You can prove and confirm that the bird belongs to you via the markings or the stamping on the wings or other identical marks. Do or can you get the bird back or do you have to bid for it or report it to the Police? Please advise.
