hi there all Thanks for all the advise. seeking some advise from other faciers I have been lead to believe that its cold eye illeness and the cure is ornicure. very serious illness and can effect humans as well as other birds. please advise many thnaks

hi there What is the best way to open the eye lid on a pigeon or is it a sign of illness and which one? Does any one have the cure for it?

hi Good stuff but very expensive.

SOme of these birds are caught and then sold to the local pet shop for a pound. Then the birds get solf off for three pounds for the pot. No one monitors and stops this from happening. All the best prized birds lost due to tiredness/ mobile masts interferance etc. Not even the owners know what happened to their prized bird? We need to seek some advice on this issue? many thnaks

the medication Baytril is only avaliable via a percription from the vet and then it can be purchased any any good repuatble supplier. I just bought 42ml for 27.00 from the vet to teat 70 birds for a five days course. thnaks

one was rescued from the petshop, funny thing is that the bird was stamped four times on both wings and the shop keeper failed to notice. he is more interested in making money on stolen birds. i have warned him next time I will report him to the police and the pigeon clubs.

hi all Merry Christmas & happy new year. I lost eight facey pigeons- tipplers. Through flying in the morning and the fog suddenley appreared. They were all rung and stamped. Green alimminum rings with PTU Lambad and nad written on it. With additional blue wrap around ring with my name and number. The two wings are also stamped. The colour of the birds varies, but moslty black & white english printy tipplers. So far I have none of the birds been reported to me. please keep a look out and circultate this information especally within the west midlands area. I will reward each pigeon reported to me. many thnaks

Hi all What is the policy or procedure when pigeons are being sold that do not belong to them? If a pigeon is rung, stamped, registered to a club and is being sold off by a third party (sky thef) to someone else or to the petshop, what can be done? The police and trading standards policy : A pigeon that is lost or stolen and is being sold at a petshop or third party, and not returned to the rightful owner, then they are recieivng stolen goods, also aiding and beting. How true is this? And can we stop this, if we all fanciers unite and come with our own agreement? Merry Christmas & happy new year. Thanks all for replying.

Hi all There seems to be alot of pigeons thefts happening over the last few weeks. I would like to enquiry about any pigeon kits being stolen in the Birmingham Area? Who, when the pigeons were stolen. The type of pigeon stolen. If it has been reported to the Police and what action or feedback did they get. The Police log/crime number. Hi there All Thanks for all the information. I have been to the VET this afternoon. The wings have not been damaged in any way shape or form. The birds havd a sign of paratyphode and the medicaction is Baytril Antibotics. Every expenses medication. All birds are on it for the next five days course. I would like to wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year. And also happy Eid.

one last question what is on show? can you see & buy the stocj & pigeons? can anyone get a table to sell there birds? thnaks

i do not think so. Occassionally it will fly on their own. There is no large tree or wires near the pen. i just do not know, as another fancier made the comment that para can be in the wings. that is why I am asking the question?

hi there all thnaks for the replies. There is no sign of the pigeons swing or twisting its head. All it is that one of the wings is lower and hence it has not been flying for the last week. It is a tippler and the recorder time withme has been 3 hours and that was last week. The last few days the wings is getting covered with droppings. The pigeon has been teated with canker, coco and canker and the water dailiy is the seven in 1 formula. many thnaks please keep the advise coming.

Hi try using the aviform 7 in one. works like a treat, but I use it on daily bases.
