i had some of thoes years back in a spare loft behind our race loft and yeah you right classfeather they a great bird to keep, i only got rid of mine coz i wanted to have more space for the racers if i ever get the chance of some of them again i would most sertanly go for it mark barlbylofts

Can any one help? I am wanting a pair of modenas for our young son who has seen them and fallen in love with them. I am in the process of building him a small loft as I write this and all we need now is the birds to put in it for him. If anyone can help please contact me

back to my qeustion did anyone race from budwith today ? lol. the weather here was good clear and sunny all day.

i had that happen this year but only two hatched the other was clear

not sure about the time but they all went over mine about 2 .30pm to 3pm i live about 5 miles from the lib site i checked the bhw and it was advitised in there wish i have cheched it yesturday lol

any one race todat from bubwith selby north yorkshire lol they all came over my house hundreds of them lol.had my ybs out atb the time got them all back few that was close lol

hi all im now a full time pigeon man at home all the time with my birds cant be bad hay, well not going into detail but its good to have the time to spend on the birds again, well pigeon racing is a full time job by itself and i be taking care of things at home while my wife is at work so go a full time job realy i surpose lol. well racing nearly here again and looking forward to it now, allthoe im 6 yearlings down from training but still got plenty to send. mark barlbylofts

mid day mine come out now as the hawks not hunting at that time i find early in the morning the hawks take the ybs and latter in the day the same mid day seems to be the safer time

i live in a vilage in north yorkshire and haveing bad hawk probs to, do so every year, had a atack today and a hawk take one of my best babies but it took it to the floor behind the fence, i got a linning promp and batterd the hawk and got my bird back the pigeon is fine the hawk i dont know or care about it managed to fly away in a bad way lol

11 aprill mid week and 14 aprill sat first two for me

well im goint to apply as president but we got to have a meeting to agree we the money will be spent but cant seem to get any interest

our club is short of cash and now ant us to get a sponsor lol i asked around and people just laugh at you. they also want to run a card system on a pigeon and run iy in the pub you list the birds you sending and ask people to pick one and if that bird come home first they win the pot, lol i found out that we can get a lotto grant to help us i phoned my sec but she not want to know lol. i think the pigeon days as i know them have long gone lol.think i going to retire and just keep a few of my old favs in the garden. all the fun as gone. barlbylofts

well put it this way if its to cold to train now and you leave it and it dont change before racing starts and there is a good chance of that do you not train or race ?

i ring mine between 5 and 7 days put the 3 front toes through the ring and hold the back toe backwards and push the ring on as far as you can then pull the back toe through,
