FANDIDDERLYTASTIC at last pigeon racing is moving with the times.I have spoken to a LOT of people over the years about ets and most people were against it,now most of these are racing with ets and ALL have said they would not return to the old system.WOO HOO we are finally there.

As Steve suggests,why not go directly to Frank.He sells at a fair price and you will have a good choice of bloodline.I was after some birds,bloodlines of a top dutch fancier,i could buy them in England from fanciers at £150 each i went direct to the man in Holland and had the pick from his stock loft at £50 each. Go direct,you may be pleasantly surprised. Good luck with your search.

I know Coxy,it is a shame.But don't despair mate,it's through the efforts that people like yourself and Wiley make on this website that keeps it fun to be part of.Give it time,i feel sure more people will swap eventually.

Swapping birds is a good way to make new friends with other fanciers.As well as improving your own stock,you can also learn a lot from each other through friendly discussions on systems,theories,feeding etc. If you find a local fancier,you can swap birds without paying Amtrak. Swapping really does make a lot of sense,more people should be doing it.

Planet Bros pigeons are now so far removed from the originals that there are a lot better alsewhere.The same can also be said for Louis Van Loon,he is now not in the best of health and does not race anymore,he has also sold the best that he owned.The two fanciers that i believe now have the best Van Loons are Joop Merckx and Bleeker & son.If you buy from either of these fanciers you will not go far wrong where the Van Loons are concerned. Yes.Why wasn't the far East mentioned.In the next few years there will be little doubt the the majority of the best pigeons will be in Taiwan,China and Hong Kong.

I have a full brother to this pigeon and he is an absolute cracker.This is his first year in my breeding loft so i cannot tell you how good he is at breeding,but certainly looks the part.

£300 for a son of Joop Groenen's "The President".President now dead.Best value i got though is probably a son of Tony Mardons Toey's Special who is sure to go for big bucks at his sale in Blackpool.I paid £35 for this cock. Will find out if they are any good this year,as i have not bred from them yet.

I don't intend to buy any birds at Blackpool,as i almost have a full stock loft.Have ordered one from Stuart though,will pick it up at Blackpool.

My first year on this site too Wiley,so i don't know how it works.It would be nice if the webmaster is going to run an auction this year,to have it up and ruuning soon,as most people tend to breed all their youngsters early. Come on webmaster,how about it!?

Yes,i really enjoy the breeding side of keeping pigeons and would probably keep some stock and breed pigeons for others to race.I think i would still get a lot of enjoyment from that, if i did not race myself.
