No mistake, we have had improbable velocities in the past with the leading birds miles in front, the terrain our birds come through its very easy for leading birds to take different routes through glens to the rest, we've had the fastest velocities in Scotland on a few occasions this year so is no surprise,

I'd like to say on behalf of all the members of the Moray Firth Flying Club how sorry we are to here of Dougie's passing and that our thoughts are with the family, Dougie was a true gentleman that always had a smile on his face no matter what, Reason in peace doug,

Aye well done Ryan, 71mph is an amazing speed to achieve in any race! Also well done to everyone else in the result seems everyone had near or full returns after 2 hours or so of their first birds, makes it all worth while getting good races like these! 👍

Cheers lads appreciate your comments, we've had an ongoing laugh on Fridays about my dad (davie) beating me every week by 30 seconds so it was nice to finally get the edge on him this week 😀 😀 An aerial photo of Benderloch just a couple mile north of the lib site at Oban which the birds cross through, No easy task but the birds seem to handle it no bother!
