p/p don't get me wrong ali was a great champ and (i stand corrected ) desereved to win the title from liston but tyson was fast strong and had aself belief ali would not have shaken and the question about frazier the final fight frazier was nearly blind in one eye ali closed the other one and still could'nt stop him. tyson was like frazier very aggressive but better ring craft a lot lot faster a better boxer.but the bst fight i ever watched (on telly)ali v frazier they fought to a standstill yes ali won but frazier was virtually blind 8)

delusion comes tol mind here del boy is right all people see is tyson's power.please do look at rhe videos tyson at at 21 was ustoppable his awesome power was there 4 everybody to see but uner damato teddy atlas and kevin rooney he was turned into the most formidable BOXER ever his hand speed and his abiltity to slip punches were as good maybe not better but as good ali's his hand speed was backed up by the power to kknock any opponant out with 1 punch something ali never had they developed a technique in the gym that was tranfered into the ring.watch the videos his head movemnt and ability to slip punches was phenomenal different but as good as ali's as for tyson being athug out of the ring he destroyed himself with the help of robin given and don king which consequently ruined his career(not making excuses)but in boxing he was a student with a knowledge econd to none who waatched and studied all the greats. the final nail in ali's coffin in my arguement is joe frazier if you know why get back to me as 4 opponents who did ali beat of any worth not at 21 or so he won the title from a man who fell down he was'nt knoced down (liston) VIDEO proves this. everybody goes on about tysons intimidation of opponents ali was the master at this only in a different way.who would TYSON :o :o 8)

its like fair play get most corns we use there own mix (nowt wrong with it) but we prefer versele laga s/widowhood 4 racing but his own is ok and its cheap

totally agree as i don't fly in scotland Iseethis a reflection of the sport in general not justin scotland ithink your right in amalgamating smaller feds but this will happen but not by choice and not just at fed level but at club level just to help the sport survive and insome ways it may be agood thing and stop a lot of the petty arguements!MAYBE

your right bout not doing it 4 the money 99% of the sport are out of pocket on about town toppers took my mate down the lofts cos he wanted to see racing pigeons he was amazed at the beauty and wellbeing compared to the rubbish on the town roofs he seen. next step is getting him down the lofts on a reg. basis

totally agree its not just finance its b/w hit nail on head its getting the young blood interested ond giving up the time to fly pigeons and like you say there's many very experienced andgood fanciers struggling to stay in the sport one of our aims should be to help keep these lads in the sport i know i'm not scottsh but tis thread really reflects on the sport in GB

if they have'nt gone down within 12 days put them in part of the loft on there own generally does trick 4 us
