Nest is twiggys brother out of a direct son of the stranger and ryans daughter,one of my later young birds had the last 2 races showed some promise could have gone to another race but started moulting to heavily.Normally a very vain pigeon and normally has a lovely stance in these photos he wasnt being very coorpartive but i was just taking photos hopefully giving him some practice for the up and coming online shows.

i do not know about flicking the young bird in the nest but i try to get the associated with me and no that i bare food when i enter the loft when still in the nest.I constantly call them when feeding!I also handle them after ringing so they get used to the smells ect.When they start feather is when i play with them i dont flick them i just might softly hold there beak and let go a couple of times as they try and fight me!i would never flick them however
