many people vaccinate for both on the same day, havent personally tried it but lead to believe it can be done :-/

dovescot you would have been refered to a paratyphoid vaccine as i believe Salmonella Typhirium is the type of salmonella that only effects pigeons no other animals not even poultry, just pigeons. Now this is cause of paratyphoid im lead to believe as the bacterium is picked up and enters the intestine. So a paratyphoid vaccination will be used as a precaution

i can vouch sal-bac is a very gd vaccine, only downfall is that it requires a booster jab within 6 months i think but can be given as quick as 3 weeks after first vaccination if memory serves me right

take the drinker out at 3.30 on the friday, then put drinker back in at 45 mins before basketing then. To me if it sounds like birds wont trap sounds like over feeding on the friday. This week will be worse aswell if birds get up as there will be plenty of water in ur guttering, and could mean valuable wasted seconds or even minutes

just remove your drinker for a while, then about hour before basketing put drinker back in, you'll notice on basketing they have taken a gd drink

you can vaccinate for salmonella, by vaccinating for paratyphoid, however the vaccination has to be prescribed, but there is many ways to get your hands on it under the counter ect

my most consistent ybs have always turned out the best. However have had yb winners to come well as old birds. But an old fancier used to say up our club, young bird winners tomorrows dinners lol but personally found gd and bad in both consistent ybs and gd ybs. ;D

understand totally pal but in my opinion would breed maybe 4 ybs out of them but keep them on the road. However bad trappers case would put him into stock incase his bad trappin habibit happens again, like u say could have been first and third club.

Heard ya said your best 2 racing cocks will be 4 this year, in my shed i would evaluate there quality on exactly what they have won, if nothing special then. If putting members of your racing team to stock think they really have to put up some brillant performance, well they do here, like numerous club wins and federation. Just my opinion but the apple doesnt fall to far from the tree.

performance, however if you know certain families mature later like some do at 2 yrs old, i would keep hold of them. But performance is the most important and its also about knowing your birds.

Birds can also see UV lights and have four different sensitivity cone cells compared to a human which only has 3 cone cells

Hi Sue, Common thing you normally hear on the end of the line when reporting birds, its out of such and such, that won such and such, but when i've always asked these fanciers for proof of race cards ect, always said they would send em down u guess what nothing. I think that would be a good idea that you go close to its home and try and release it, id say it would be best bet or as sammy says report to union. Ryan

rule is after vaccination vaccinated birds must be kept seperate from birds who havent been vaccinated for 14 days!

paulo what you give the birds i personally believe they will not get you the few extra yards, they will only help you condition the birds and bring them into form, the motivation is were you get the few extra yards from!
