Thanks,I'am staying in Gateshead on Saturday night and did not know if I should leave the car there and take the train to South Shields. But I will take the car now that I know I can get it parked.

I'am going, is there plenty of car parking spaces.

If the first North birds were flying in the same batch of pigeons as the frist Angus birds then they arrived at the time you would expect them to.

This was the best y/bird national race for birds clocked we have had for years. Some fanciers might have only had 40% returns but quite a few had more than 90% returns. 3/3,7/8 ect, I had 5/5.There were so many birds timed that when I was doing the result for the lads at the clock station I had to disguard any Aberdeen birds timed after 13.30. I have attached the resut done in Aberdeen,THis is not the full result as some clocks were done at the Banff clock station and are not encluded. SNFC Leicester.htm

Aberdeen Fed heldover at Witton Castle.

Cowie&Mackie bought 1 of the Fife pigeons at the sale,don't know who the breeder is but its been racing very well for them.

I support it every year,never won it yet, :but there's always a first time.

I have 1 for the Aberdeen and District B/Buyer £400 to both breeder and buyer which is this Saturday from Witton Castle 173 mls. Although our y/b racing has'nt been the best this year there is still a few b/buyer birds left for this one. .

My parrot eats chocolate,never noticed anything. Just read this. Chocolate is a highly palatable food. Some of us know that all too well. Chocolate is not bad for birds just because it is high in calories and fat though, it contains a compound called theobromine. Theobromine is toxic to dogs and cats as well, but birds, again due to their smaller size and more rapid metabolism, may be even more susceptible to its toxic effects.
