  11. To Be honest kev i aint paired early in years but the year i did they moulted body's twice and held there wing so i can only speak as i find, thats what so great about this sport we all have our own idea's Regards
  12. Out of interest why would you need to put birds on darkness if you pair boxing day because early bred y/birds left natral moult and hold there wings just like darkness youngbirds so don't see the point darking the loft if you pair then.

  18. I don't know if its true for every one but louella purchased my mates NFC winner and when it reached 10 years old he give it back to him and it still filled its eggs. Regards

  25. I was only a young lad at the time a yes it was a dream job , I can remember handling the Bushaert Champion little black i believe Ken Aldred was the owner at the time. Only the stewards were allowed to handle him what a pigeon that was. Jim biss had several sales there, Alf Baker, Reg Barker all great distance flyer, i worked along side great distance Flyer like Chalie Saunders and Gordon Thorpe i learnt a lot at these sale by handling so many champions, They all had one thing in common great hearts,
