All the team at Pigeon Force Could we also point out that, in this weeks British Homing World that there has been a error with our advert, they have printed an old advert instead of the new one, the one that's printed this week has the wrong prices.

Just looking for any info on the birds that Henry Muir sells (Lionhearts) in the Bhw every week. Has anyone bought any of these birds and won with them. Anything on the birds or Henry would be very greatfully welcomed either on this posting or by PM. Thank you (Please note : this is me asking your personal opinion of Henry and his birds from experience you may have had with him/them) Daryl

Please can anyone help me with some advice here, Last year I joined one of our local flying clubs which has about 10 members. I had nothing but problems with them , never let me know when meetings were, diddnt map my loft location (they used a neighbours loft , some 30+ meters away as my distance), my clock which was never set right and even stopped on one race day, basicly there not bothered. I then mentioned to them that I had bought ETS and told them, which they wasn't happy, one member said " it's not fair you using this as I can not afford it" now this isn't an oap, it was a younger member. Its like me saying "you carnt race them birds because I carnt afford them". I had to chase my rings up and wait until they were ready to give them to me and was then told that every member had a vote at the last meeting and voted against me using the Ets (surely I should have been told about this meeting and at least been invited) then to top it all off the breeder buyer sale 2 members turned up ( no one was told when it was) Luckly iv joined another local club now, as have a few of the other members , and everything should be ok, but I was just wondering if this happened to someone else where do they stand with regards to the Ets ruling (can a club just say no) thanks in advance

I would say it's a really good price for the weight and size of van needed from both locations it's approx 306 miles -/+ same day service charged One way at minimum of 60p per mile (transit van about 80p per mile) = £183 for small van or £244 for a transit. I'd be happy getting charged your price.

Thanks for the number iv tried it but it won't connect, The problem we have is he asked us to collect some birds which we have but when we have tried to contact him he hasn't answered his land line, tonight I have gone up on the off chance that he would be in. Earlier on I called round but could get no reply, so I spoke to a neighbour and asked if she would take the birds in, she said no, I left him a note and noticed that the lights inside were on and the blinds down , my concern is it was still light outside!!!! I'm going back to his house now to see if anything has changed , Im not sure if he is an elderly man who may have injured himself or something and can not get any help. This does happen and I'm a little stuck on what to do, Does anyone have any advice, he may have just decided to go for a pint I just don't want to take that chance. Daryl

With regards to the bad feed back and I would like to explain the full facts behined this. The birds were picked up in Scotland yesterday,by spds and travelled during the night. Julies dad (Ronnie) was at Spds this morning at 7:45am (as arranged with spds) to pick up the birds and take them to mr Charlton straight away, due to no one turning up at spds until 12:15 pm after numerous phone calls to them we managed to pick the birds up and took them straight there, I have since spoken to mr Charlton and we have agreed that this is a one off incident out of our control. Yours in sport Daryl
