  13. not trying to start any argument, all organisations are doing well, but the confussion i get is sme being independant, and you dont have to be a member of this or that, so does the answer above about members of national;s having to give what region they are in not mean you have to be a member of the RPRA ? also if you are flying under a unions (be it RPRA SHU or what) how can you call yourself INDEPENDANT, and if you are flying with a organisation and you are not a member of their governing body, (WHOS RULES THEY ARE FLYING UNDER) how if you had too do you apeal to
  14. VIEW OVER THE FORTH, broken cloud with a light South wind, visability good, can see over the Forth, at 0735hrs.
  15. So what does RPRA rule 158, mean, quote: NATIONAL or SPECIALIST CLUBS, "All members of a National or Specialist Clubs shall be required to notify the secretary of the club of the identity of the Local Region of which the member is a member" unquote, so as i see it you have to be a member of a RPRA region to be a member of a National or Specialist club, ??????
  16. Scottish organisations with the RPRA are in a region, CUMBRIA region, wich covers CUMBRIA, SCOTLAND, and the ISLE of MAN, :-/
  17. sorry duncan, i was not answering ur post when i said " why have an organisation north of the border when its run by those south of the border " can it be scottish ? I was reffering to the recent times, ie: scottish organisations governed from down south, (England)
  18. regarding the Scottish and UK bit agree 100% why have a north of the border organisation if its got to be governed by south of the border, can you call it SCOTTISH ??
  19. glad to hear Billy is getting better, and hopefully will see him settled in his new home, all the best Billy.
  20. yes it is good harry, what i was asking about is someone was saying that the SNRPC was a true national as its open to the whole country (UK) and my question was why is it called a scottish national if its open to the whole country, and how could you have a race for the whole country, its impossible, other than a one loft race,
  21. so its the NFC which is running the race , and under their rules,
  22. theres will be a one day race and yours a 2 day race, and what will fanciers in thurso be,???
  23. and what would the distance to someone in portsmouth ??? that you will be racing against
  24. agree with you ,this is what i cant understand about a race being for the whole country, say ur race from SAINTES, what would be the distance for a fancier in portsmouth and one in thurso, how could they possibly race against each other,??
  25. so someone in portsmouth could be flying against someone in thurso, ?? what would the overfly be :
