the Leven birds were brought back from Otterburn to KELSO and were libererated at 1630hrs in a NE wind taking top spot along with 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 10th was D BROWN on 1351, 1341, 1304, 1303, and 1287, J MACKIE was 3rd & 9th 1319, 1288, B HERD 4th 1306, GILMOUR Bros. 7th 1302, J PAGE 8th 1296,

The Leven members had 190 birds at Kelso on the 24th April, liberated at 10.05 in a Lt NE wind, last years highest prize winner Brian Herd (sapper)got off to a good start taking 1st 7th and 10th on 1502,1440.08, 1405.37 2nd is J mackie 1470, 3rd 4th 5th 6th and 8th was D Brown, 1457, 1456, 1453, 1440.67, 1438, and 9th MJD McHale 1405.72,
