you get floorwhite from columbine, also harkers have it, i use the columbine, u brush it well into the floor so it dose not blow about. keeps the floor dry and smells good and looks good.

yes square-peg most lofts nowadays have windows rather than wire, and even those are not transparent, so birds cannot see out,

Its not only late-breds that don't like the east wind some old birds are the same, more so if its cold, so as u say not good for latebreds,

I used to think it was hard to settle birds if they were in a loft which is closed in and can't see their surroundings,
