between ten and fifteen years ago when we flew west i could see the birds especially the young birds,coming home from the direction of tinto hill and they would be about ten miles away,such was the size of the batch.and you would have the biggest majority of your team land together.those days are long gone,now we are having birds winning eighty mile races by ten mins,in the club.nobody in there right mind could possibly believe that there birds are ten mins inferior to that bird,maybe the west will bring a bit of order to the chaos

hi guys the sale is in the dalziell flying club premises on sunday the 23rd of october.viewing is from 10am to 12.the adress is 37 bellshill road motherwell postcode is ML1 3SQ anybody attending this sale will not be dissapointed the birds are mostly plum bodied with good quality feathering as i said before,it costs nothing to take a look.i am going to put up a list of young birds for you so that you can work out what you want.there is some absolute crackers in this sale,all have had one race,as i only go to one race with my young birds this is not unusual,as yearlings they go to the south coast and some to ypres.i normally do very well from these races.

i cannot beleive that you are arguing over the probable causes of going west everybody should realise that most of your birds have never been down the west and it will take a season or two for them to sort themselves out.i posted before that if you are going to go down the west route again,i think that you have to start with your young birds,and the following season you will have good racing with your yearlings.the lanarkshire fed agreeing to go down the east for three years chapped the west route on the head
