I've had a few birds in my car that needed taking in to custody lol

They were poofty cut Ham and Tomato sandwiches! He was being very fussy and particular that day. I drew the line at cutting the crusts off for him though hahaha

More to it than that thesedays, having experienced a shocker yesterday and all the pigeons that went in the crates were very well trained and in tip top condition, a percentage of them sent by other members had already had 2 races yet returns were less than 10% from 60 miles and it isn't as if they were "Micky" birds or fanciers sending them! Makes you wonder if it is all worth it at the end of the day

If your Fed held there birds here at Hereford then pat them on the back as I saw batches of hundreds flying round here for hours and still plenty of birds going in all directions shortly before dark. We raced from Frome today and had a 4:10 lib. Of the 7 members that had sent only 3 had a bird home! yes 3 members and only 7 birds home!!!! I have 2 from 16 and returns are far less than 10%. Anyone with any info on the Hereford, South Shropshire & Forrest of Dean Fed Lib would be appreciated as I would like to know whats gone wrong to maybe help ease my utter disapointment

Not only peregines taking them from kits in the air, I just witnessed a hen sparrowhawk dart into a kit of 10 and take one simple as picking an apple off a tree! Took one, 3 bolted and the rest just carried on so someone will be disapointed no doubt about it. Glad I just fed mine and kept them in this morning for a change!

Well lets hope they dont wander too far a field as the earth is flat and they might fall off the edge lol
