thankyou all yeah dead proud & well chuffed with loft & ybs m&g lofts built to my spefication orderd at the blackpool show then di the garden and turfed it cant wait to race em

never had a loft in back garden before so not use to the little sods going on house dont mind em going on loft of garage at side but bit hard to knock em off house!!! thanks for your kind words guys n gals now got 25 ybs with 2 to come

my firtst 21 are all still laying on the floor in the shavings and coming out flapinping there wings 4 been on the hut,garage and 2on the house but with the whistle soon come down

also use bamfords i go there to there main place in leyland i think the qaulity is very good got severals bags last week all good ybs on breed and wean also picked up some other stuff also picked up some hi carb corn for my dads old birds and what a difference they are doing sommer saults on it!!!

ive got the same problem the battery onesa are £30 i as also looking at pellets that you put into water & water the garden & aparently thay hate the smell & it keeps em away has any1 else usd it?

my dad once raced widowhood cocks & have a few hens still in the loft due to late laying before gong on roundabout & winning 1st with a widowhood cock and geting 2nd with a natural hen on a big youngen in same loft

go for fast & fancy can be used up to 400miles

ive used peanuts normally before a long hard race normally around 3 or 4 per bird as they hold water & full of protein & fat.whisch give energy released over a hard race i give the ybs them now to get use to them as yearlings. not that ybs need them or many hard races as ybs unless its a hard day at 200miles or racing channel but to get use to them as yearlings and they then love em

im putting mine on it moving ybs 2m is there a time limmit for this as didnt know if it was too late to do this as my dad puts his ybs that are bred in either dec/jan do march bred ybs need to go on the darkness system?? i was gonna put em on feon 6pm to 8am

im all for ets i was'nt too keen at the start but like a few other post said it is 2007 not 1907 and was the same issue raised when the stb came out to replace the toilet clock?? as the toilet could either win or loose you a race depending who read it,and the stb read a true reading.also did anyone complain when sputnik traps came out making timeing in quicker than those that choose to catch the bird in the loft and position of loft can be an advantage theses are several points that are quicker did anyone raise thesse issues when they came out, so i think ets is a great way forward and most defo will be geting it

i bought a loft from m & gthey were at blackpool last weekend looked at every loft there and m & g came up with best design and best of all besy price give em a call based in dudley advertise in hw every week

very busy!!! ended up buying my new loft arrives in 2/3 weeks designed to spec and a great price better dealing face to face

think you can buy the best from anyone at what ever cost but you got to be able to keep em!!! you know how hard it is to keep ybs choose how good the breeding is
