  1. yes i normally let them sit 2 chicks the first round, but single rear the 2nd round,. but also had the above problem with the splayed legs a few times.
  2. i believe in getting them out & on top of the loft before they can fly (in a basket). as often as possible, & still in the basket in front of the loft so they can actually see where they live. then, when they can walk let them out of the basket infront of the loft a few yards away & they walk back into the loft, when i throw a bit of food in. i do this as often as possible & this has kept the flyaways down to a very minimum.

  10. 2 cut up cloves of garlic in a 2 ltr bottle of water left for 24 hours once or twice a week. give to the birds. this was the best tip i was ever given by (bruno & jimmy white) of this forum. keep it simple dont buy all that fancy expensive stuff. hope this helps.
  11. just an idea>>>>> what about letting new fanciers know that they have to be a member on here for so long before they can ask for birds, i believe there are genuine & non genuine members looking for birds. or they have to become an old bird or something like that, ??? just an idea
  12. ive lost about 8 whites over the past 3 yrs, & only one reported about 10 miles from me this season, but not expecting it back, but its a bonus if i do,. thanks anyway
