because they are quite new birds & a bit of a change around in your loft, maybe they just need a little more time to settle in before breeding, its sometimes just a bit of patience, as i was the same, hope this helps. it will come right soon

it looks like you was talking about me in raising this topic, as you can see i was only trying to defend pigeons & wanted to let them know that there are more hawks around than they think & also let the public know, as they are secretive sneeky birds, & i have never seen a hawk before in the city untill i started up last year with my pigeons, when one attacked one of my birds 2 feet in front of my eyes, i understand your point 100%, after i started this topic, so i apologise 100% sincerly to yourself beauty homer, as i think we got our wires crossed.& too anyone else who i may of offended. regards, snowy snowy

hyacinth, i would never & why should i call you such a name, i respect you 100% as i do every other member on this forum, i am not one to slander anyone, but as i posted to beautyhomer, his rudeness was uncalled for & im not one to just sit & take it of him or anyone, i treat everyone with respect as long as they have the same respect for me. ;D

pecked hen, as i said when i pmd you, i use just a little while they are breeding, to fire them up a bit, you can either mix in in with their normal breeding mix, or as i do, i feed in the afternoon normal feed, but in the morning i throw a little in on its own, it worked for me as advised by silverwings i think, on topic, stubbern breeding. hope this helps, i think the fishing hemp is bigger than the small bird seed hemp, but not 100%, im sure someone will put you right, regards

hyacinth, as i posted, was going to say to homer, good point of view , which i didnt realise, at the time of my first post, which i would have been glad for him to say " snowy, the rspb will love to think that their precious hawks are thriving & wont give a toss about pigeons" but i got a voilent! uncalled for " INTERFERING TOWNIES, WHO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE COUNTRYSIDE , WITH THERE BLINKERED VIEWS" so he & any other rude country bumpkin can carry on playing that banjo....
